This club is for showcasing 3D artwork made completely or partially from scratch. The only requirements for submitting artwork is that all artwork must be, at least in part, a rendered 3D image or animation. Also, all artwork should show at least one element that demonstrates an ability to work with a full-featured 3D program, such as 3dsmax, Maya, Lightwave3D, Bryce, Blender, etc., such as:
-Objects, characters, or scenery that were created entirely by the artist in a full-featured 3D program. Stock models, models that came with a software package, downloaded models, and objects or characters created using various "generator"-type software (i.e. Poser, Terragen, etc.) will not fulfill the requirement.
-UV-wrapped 2D texture maps or unique procedural textures created and applied to a model entirely by the artist.
-Particle systems, dynamics simulations, or other various "special effects" created in a full-featured 3D program. Filters and effects applied to a rendered image in 2D image editing software will not fulfill the requirement.
Images submitted to the club that the club moderators don't feel fulfill at least one of these requirements may be removed. Because the rules are somewhat subjective, generally no disciplinary action (i.e. removal from the club, etc.) will be taken unless the moderator(s) have reason to believe the rules were broken deliberately.
Since obviously not everyone has access to or skills for the type of software required for this club, membership at this time is open to anyone who wants to watch the artwork and/or make comments and suggestions. Controls and restrictions to club members' activities may be added as seen fit.

So the club, and evidently the entirety of SA, are sitting pretty on life support with a prognosis of "totally booped up the boop".
Still, I'm here to keep the blood running, even if that blood has the texture of jelly and an unpleasant yellow-ish tint.
I should probably stop trying to use metaphors.
Our new featured art is Eddie by Gofthick, who has the ancient mythical power of looking good in a vest.
Also take a look at this Leafeon Necklace Pendant by Emeryl which I find charming in its simplicity. Also may be squee-worthy for those of you who are squee-prone.
See you again after another indeterminate timespan. Unless this whole place finally manages to go kaput, that is.
Edit: Eddie is the thinnest piece of art we've had up in a while, and actually forced me to very slightly alter the front page formatting to make it center properly. Curse you, Gofthick, CURSE YOU!
