"Karma" is essentially extra credit that I and other members of DC give out to fellow members for cool contributions to the site, hilarious and/or interesting posts, or for new members joining.

Not to mention every time you recruit a new member to DC, post the name of the person within this thread after they've successfully signed up and I will reward you 5 karma (that's right) for every member that you sign up in this way...
