Critiquing a Doll (or anything for that matter XD Posted by ALPhantom
This is a way a lot of us improve our skills in anything! Its called many things, like C+C or CC. this is called Constructive Criticism, as that is our way to help another in the club!
Things you can(or suggested to) do when you C+C:
--- Say whats good about the doll! you don't wanna just say "she looks too fat" and run off, that never helps. its always good to state what was done best about something rather then what is needed as improvement.
--- Suggest ways to improve. This is the helper to fix your mistakes. when you give ways or anything that helps, it gives a good idea on where you need improvement. saying "add shading" doen't help much. If my make red lines, or give a tutorial on what they need improvement on, it gives a clear idea on what they need to work on.
--- Keep what they have in mind to do, and make it better. If they want to shade a certain way, help them improve that method. don't say "thats all wrong". If they want to make it in a cartoony style rather then realistic, help them on that idea. Respect what they desire to put out!
--- If receiving critique, please do not be offended. We all, even the best, need a few words or fixtures to our stuff! if someone gives a wonderful Critique, take into consideration instead and TRY it out. if you don't understand them, ask what they mean. If you don't ask, you never know. We here will be nice, and dedicated for help!
