Dreadfish Company Insignias and Infrastructure
  Posted by Otak UN
Glory to the Dreadfish, my warriors!!

Many within the ranks have inquired about their status within the army and asked about things along the lines of "Apprentices" to that of others, like that of the Swordfish. I want to let you all know that the Dreadfish Infrastructure is vastly different. This is because, unlike the Swordfish, we Dreadfish learn and gain strength ON the battlefield, rather than from a mentor. That is the key to true power. Our infrastructre is based upon our power in numbers and their organization and command. But, in order to properly explain this, we must establish proper symbols, banners and insignias for each company or division.

Company Banners and Insignias
The following are the each company's respective insignias: (Note: These are in no means set in stone. If you wish, you can edit/alter/make your own)

[You may notice that there is no insignia for the Special Operations and Recon Division. This is because, when on the feild, their job is to NOT be seen. However, if you really want one, By all means, go ahead ]

Dreadfish Infrastructure
Now, as for the Dreadfish Infrastructure, we will be using the following "Chain of Command":

The lines represent the proverbial "chain", going from top to bottom. Each class has command over the other "links" in this chain, going from top to bottom. For example, the Warchief has command over the Frontal Assault Captain. However, he also has command over the Mobile Infantry, since they are a "link" to his "chain", even though no single line connects the two. Furthermore, for example, the Medical Corp. Sergeant does not have command over the Demolition Feild Operatives, because they are not part of the Sergeant's chain.

For Divisionary Captains
On the topic of Sergeants, each company will have a Captain that serves as the leader of that company and a Sergeant that is more or less the "Second in Command". The decision on who will fill these positions will be left to the Company Captain's discretion. In other words, as Captains, it is your duty to promote a proper Sergeant. You may go about doing this in whichever way you choose. A tournament, contest, battle to the death. Or it may be as simple as drawing straws. I'll leave that to you. You may also organize your Company in any way you want. Just be sure to PM me with your choices as soon as you make them so I may update the ranks.

One last note: The insignias are free for everyone to use. They can be found in .fla format [here].

That is all.

"Victory needs no explanation, defeat allows none."

Now i just have to find out a way how to decide who's going to be sergeant... I'll probably do the same as you did when you were going to select a captain for each division... but im not sure yet x3

It may be some time before I find a sargeant, High Commander, sir.
It may be my pickiness, but I don't feel like any of my current team are suited for the position.

Warchief,

I notified each member of the Demolitions and Explosives Squadron individually that the position of Sergeant was to be filled. I have not received any correspondence from my squad after requesting that they each appeal to me as to why they feel they should fill the spot. Today is the deadline I had set for them, and I am disheartened to inform you that due to this lack of initiative I am unable to select a Sergeant until D&E receives more zealous recruits. Thank you for your time.
