::The Elite Equine Artists Standards
-- We try to ensure that only the truly elite artists are featured here. Your artwork should stand out for the rest. Creativity, composition, correct anatomy, colors, and movement should all be apparent in the finished product of your pieces.
-- We look for clarity in message in your art; make sure that your art is not messy and sloppily done. It must be high quality.
-- This club features ANY art that is related to horses (zebras, donkeys, unicorns, pegasus, tack, ect.) completed in any mediums, including digital and photography.
:On Photography
-- This club is the fusion of the Elite Equine Artists and Equine Photography, two clubs I moderate on deviantART.
-- In photography we still look for the highest quality. We appreciate originality and creativity. Cliché eye shots and groups of horses grazing in a pasture will not be accepted unless they are absolutely perfect in all other areas.
-- We do not appreciate the grain that can appear in digital photos. Any blur or grain in photos must add to the overall effect of the picture.
-- We will still be looking for originality, concept, lighting, proper use of color, value, pose, and overall effect of photos.
::Joining
-- If you feel that you deserve to be featured with the very best of Sheezy Art, just submit an application to become a member. There is no need to send us any notes, and we do not (and should not!) need you telling us your best work. We will be able to look at your gallery and decide if you can produce quality work on a consistent basis. If you have one or two pieces that we really like we may ask to feature them in our journal.
--- We do appreciate notes sent by people like you suggesting artists that you feel would be an attribution to this club. Feel free to either send us a note or send your artist a note informing them of the EEA.
-- With every artist that we do not accept I will send a note explaining why you weren't accepted and what we feel you can do to work on to possibly be accepted in the future. Please do not be offended; this is not inclination on how we feel towards you, only how we see your artwork from where you are on a technical standpoint. You are free to apply again after you feel you have improved, but please refrain from applying every week or every month unless you feel you have made signifigant progress.
-- If you aren't accepted, you may want to look into our affiliation, the Equine Artists. They are a group based on helping equine artists improve with their work.
::Submitting
-- Please don't submit more than two photos per day and more than four photos per week. Flooding of clubs is extremely annoying (in my opinion) and is very likely to bring you less overall views than should you have submitted just a few each day.
-- Don't submit entire series. Select one or two photos in a series and feature those. Chances are you'll have something in the description that it's part of a series anyway.
-- Repeatedly failing to comply with these rules could get you banned from the club.
::Staff
-- Founder LostSoulnaf and moderator Aurora Marille are the current staff members of the EEA. It will be our promise to run this club as effectivly and smoothly as possible.
-- Although I (LostSoulnaf) am technically listed as a club member please be aware that my artwork is NOT going to be featured in this club. I don't feel that my artwork is anywhere near the standards of the people that are and are to be accepted into this club, and I will never be the one to accept myself into the club. I absolutely refuse to glorify myself simply because I founded the place; that isn't the job of a club leader in my opinion.
