You stare at the ground to avoid premature eye contact, you trip over yourself. You can never decide whether or not to say hi to someone when you see them for the third time that day. You laugh at your own jokes. You don't know when to cross the street. Every conversation you have has an uncomfortably long pause, and worst of all, you always point it out.
You go to the school cafeteria by yourself and sit in the corner facing the wall, just cause you're so damn awkward. You introduce yourself by saying, "hi, i'm [blank]. sorry, i'm really awkward. but i promise i'm nice." You create little habits to help yourself avoid eye contact, like biting your nails or always having a snack on hand. You make a joke, and then make a second one about how bad the first one was. If someone you don't know is in the conversation, you avoid introducing yourself until it's kind of ridiculous to, cause you've been talking for like 10 minutes. You spill shit all over yourself and then whisper, "shh, no one saw that" when everyone clearly did. You specifically don't smile at cute guys/girls lest they think you're interested (and thus will laugh at you). You walk towards someone you know and wonder what distance from them is appropriate to finally say hi, even though you've been awkwardly looking at each other since you were 100 feet apart.
(That's the end of the description. Ok. Thanks. Yeah.)
