I really really want to get a pretty background picture for this thing that won't make the page look like something you'd see on a stereotypical goth's front page.
So if you'll pretty please tell me how to put backgrounds in this bloody thing I can make this more interesting.

Fan-art is not welcome-any type of fan-art. Fan-fictions, fan characters, pictures of characters from whatever show; if it's not your own character or story, it's not welcome.
Pictures of your persona or any self-portrait is fine, so long as it's not a you in some other fan-based universe.

There is a war going on. Most don't realize it, but it's there. The monster known as "Fandom" is taking over the throne Originality once held.
In moderation, Fandom can be managed. It has been managed. However, little by little, it has nearly taken over the artistic community.
I am here in attempt to bring Fandom back under control.
This does not mean that I will flame/bash/troll across/report/otherwise overzealously attack any fan-art I happen across. This simply means that I will support the original characters and stories that others post.
This is a non-hostile coup against the Fandom tyrant.
So that you understand completely, I shall reiterate:
This club is not against fandom completely, so to speak.
It is against the idea that fan-art and the like get the recognition, while the original work remains unnoticed unless it is particularly exceptional.
