Jurassic Park is a major pop culture franchise that began in the early '90s. The first movie, released in 1993, is based off of Michael Crichton's novel of the same name, what was originally published in 1990. The second movie, The Lost World, is also based on a Michael Crichton book - The Lost World, published in 1995. The second book & movie are not nearly as similar as the firsts; in fact, the plots (and even cast of characters, to an extent) are barely the same at all. Both are worth reading or watching in my opinion, and if you did/nt like one it shouldn't affect your opinion of the other too much :3 The third movie, cleverly titled Jurassic Park III (note that on all the graphic logos, the roman numeral three is dinosaur claw slash marks!), is not based on any book, and Michael Crichton had no role in its production.

..all that said, this club is for any and all fans of this great trilogy, and fanworks can be anything to do with the books, movies, video games, etc. Drawings, fanfiction, graphics, screenshots, or whatever art form tickles your fancy may be submitted, and it doesnt necessarily have to include anything to clearly show it as Jurassic Park fanwork - we love 'just dinosaurs' too
