In Sao Paulo, Brazil more than two million gay men, women, and transsexuals celebrated Gay Pride and marched several kilometers in colorful attire to demand an end to homophobia among Brazil's 185 million people.
All I can say is: whoa. I wish I was there! But spirits were dampered when 3 million Evangelicals started a rally on the same street in opposition to the Gay Pride parade. They are strongly against demands for a nationwide law permitting civil unions among same sex couples; now such a law only exists in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
I wish conservative Christians can just reconcile themselves to the fact gay people are children of God just like they are, and that Jesus called for us to love our neighbor, not to condemn them. People spend too much time focusing on Old Testament laws of the Bible, when Jesus said to follow his new commandments.
But I still hope for a better future.

So, I think the layout has been working out really well, I always have a warm feeling of accomplishment when I see it. And since summer is here, I thought maybe we could try a small contest or something, if everyone isn't too busy with stuff.
