It became relatively clear that Drake's intention was for the members of the Academy to become pieces of the military. He presented them with two kinds of possibilities: the joining of either the main ground military branch of Central Lumis, which was also known as the Central Ground Forces, or the joining of the Gold Union, previously known as the Warrior Union of Central. Originally, the members of the Lumis Academy found it was necessary to get a better-paying job, for obvious reasons. The main prerogative was still unknown to everyone except by Drake and his personal acquaintances. With a little persuasion, he had convinced the other members that his plot to revive the Academy had already partially succeeded.
"I had promised you all what you've asked for: money, a chance to see your previous school revived, and for those of you with higher purpose, a chance to receive a higher power. By this time, you should realize that the power of magic is something which cannot be rivaled by mere physical force, or even careful planning by military forces. Magic, as it were, is the highest rung in military force."
Members like Bill Richmond were persuaded to keep their own personal jobs, while using their spare time to accomplish small tasks for the Academy. They worked closely with Drake Irving to rebuild defiled structures from the Academy attack, and they also accomplished small public relation work to get Spell Casters back on the menu for military consideration. These members included Jake Sentry, Bill Richmond, Grave Ravenhearst, Dash Carls and Nemkeltura Pesture, otherwise known as Nak. Those members worked in tandem with Drake in order to learn his magic; their path was tough for the next few days, because they had to juggle several tasks with trying to work for the Academy.
Other Academy members, like Bane and Lothar, took to the Gold Union and did different tasks for them. During these tasks, they strengthened their knowledge of the Union's past achievements, as well as gained some history and knowledge of Malevolence City, Central Hells. Where they will ultimately stand is a mystery; do they stay with the forever ominous Daniel Morgan and his Imperial Union, or do they decide to switch to Central Hells, and work for a city that turns slowly chaotic with each passing day? One thing remains sure, however; their power and control over magic increases with each mission they use their spells in conjunction with melee combat. These members included Lloyd, Bane, Lothar, and they were slightly joined by Bill Richmond and Lance the Monk, during different missions. They were told to attack various Apocalypse Units, to attack gang leaders, gangs themselves, to procure information and even to siege a previously abandoned castle.
For a time, Kaeso Flare had joined the Union members in carrying out certain tasks. But it seemed that his objective was to obtain enough money to join the Hells Academy of Magic, so that he could learn from a more complete learning environment, complete with an Academy Ranking Ladder, a Gymnasium, and even a facility reserved for the elite "top five" members, in the entire school. Indeed, it was a learning environment to die for, and Kaeso eventually found Leonardo Pyrosso there, as well as William White, who had dropped from the Academy after it was attacked. Not only did he find old acquaintances, but he also came across a potential love interest in Amy Hydrosso, at one of the Magical Family Suitor Dances. A Pyrosso and a Hydrosso? Unheard of. Among other things, Kaeso also made a slight rivalry with wind mage Myxt Heliosso, until his older brother's assassination, leading Myxt to flee from the school and live a life in attempt to dissolve from the social world of Central Hells.
Indeed, it was Drake Irving's idea that any Academy member would become stronger in magic, the more it's used in battles and situations, but why he'd want them to become stronger is the question. The members will start to question this, unless power is their ultimate goal, in which case things could only get better with time.
We, the previous students of the Academy, now fight to revive what was once a powerful group of young magicians. We are strong, granted we are few. We one day hope that Lumis will once again accept us as a vital part of their military, or else fall in comparison to Hells ingenuity or Earthien technology.

*There is no longer any way to 'agility' out of the way of spells, walls, or otherwise. The only viable way is the free dodge; use them sparingly or all at once to avoid death.
*18 is not the cap for stats, with the exception of Control.
*In the future, I may require players to make agility checks for their free dodges. For each. Effing. One.
*I may submit rules and regulations on this page, if there ever comes a time I feel it is necessary. Rules on counters, melee, spell-priority, updates, and so forth. If you're really lucky, I'll even post the rules on leveling up here.
