Every army requires those slow, cumbersome, heavyli armed and armoured dudes, who absolutely tear everything in their way to tiny bits. Yup, these are the Conquerors.
Clad in thick, bulky power armour, these elite troopers can easily take even munitions designed for countering vehicles and are practically impervious to small-arms fire. Even energy weapons can have trouble piercing their suits, thanks to some advanced coating we've added.
They come armed with three varieties of weapons. Anti-infantry, anti-vehicle and anti-both.
A-I weapons include chain guns, which instead of lead fire crystallized darkness, massive flamethrowers and sonic cannons, allof which are used to take out as enemy troopers at once.
A-V weaponry comes srong with 'Barrage launchers', which launch entire volleys of missiles at any target deemed worthy. Then there are massive homing-rocket launchers, which are also good at taking down dropships or other slow-moving aircraft.
And last, A-B weaponry. This includes plasma cannons, portable tesla coils and even devastating melee weaponry. The most prominent CC weapons are plasma spears, which project a small stream of (duh) plasma from their tips and grandblades, which are massive swords made of the finest alloys to allow maximum cutting power.
Most of these weapons are generally too big for normal infantry to even lift. Thanks to some support systems in their power armour, however, Conquerors can easily wield them. They generally stay behind a main force of Dark warriors, providing deadly firepower.
Their only true weakness is their mobility, which means more agile foes can circle around them before they can bring their weapons to bear. However... should they get a clear shot at you, do not expect your armour to withstand the barrage.
