I had to remove quite a few submissions from the club today. Just reminding everyone that drawing over pixel bases, UNLESS they were 100% made by you, is NOT allowed in this club. You will only be warned once, and if found to have done it again, I will remove you from the club.
Also moderators, these pictures had dated back for quite some time ago. I expect you guys to actually, y'know, watch over the club when I'm not around. Things like this need to be spotted and dealt with.
Well its kinda hard when you look at pixel art, a large majority of it look custom made, so i couldn't really tell the base submissions from the 100% custom submissions....
Righto, so anyone that mentions a base in the description should be deleted straight away, but what if they used a base but didn't mention it? How would i know that they used one or not D:
Read comments on the submission. And watch carefully for style changes in the pixel art. If it becomes radically different from each other, start googling for pixel bases/doll bases. Chances are you'll find the base.
I promised to check out the sprites that claimed to be made from scratch because I've been spriting online for over 11 years now.
I now sprite from scratch so I know and can tell when bases are used..
..but I probably should have checked the dolls as well.. I apologize for my laziness.
