Okay firstly, contacted me and requested to be a mod. Since I've known him for a while and he's the only one to actually request a mod position, he's now a mod. If anybody else wants to mod all you have to do is ask.

Also we're affiliated with the Shyguy Club, because Shyguys are awesome. If you want to check it out, here's the link. The icon is also on the main club page. There's a huge collab going on over there.


Now to the main reason I made this clublog. It's apparently unanimous that people here want to have a contest, but what will it be about (that is, what will you be required to do for the artwork)? I thought I should let you come up with some ideas (if you want), but I still thought up my own suggestions anyway.


- Male=Female - Draw a character (it can be your favourite or not) as the opposite gender (NOT CROSSDRESSING. I mean Mario as a girl or Princess Peach as Prince Peach....wait if she was a boy she wouldn't be called Peach). If you want you could do couples.

- (insert name) has joined your party! - Make up a new member for Mario's party

- Alternate species - Draw a character as a different species (eg. Kooper as a Boo, etc)

- Favourite scene - Self explanatory, draw your favourite scene in any of the games

- Yourself as a Mario....monster...thing - Draw yourself as a Paper Mario character (but not a human character)


When we decide on a topic, we'll decide on a deadline (which will probably be a looooooong deadline so people don't spazz out and skip out on their schoolwork), then everyone will vote so it's fair and I don't have to handle the pressure of choosing the winners and losers.

Keep in mind that when the time comes for voting, please don't instantly vote for the person who has the most badass drawing skills or knows how to use the best effects in Photoshop. This happens a lot on Deviantart. Yes drawing skills are important, but creativity and originality should also play a part, and what I've noticed is you can spend weeks working on something and in the end it looks like you made it in a couple of hours. That's happened to me SOOOOO many times. Also, needless to say, you can't vote for yourself.

I haven't organized anything with prizes yet. There's no subscriptions or anything to give here. Maybe I (and some other kind people) could just do art requests for the winners.
