I finally saw "Dead Man's Chest" this weekend. There was a woman in the row in front of me who was easily scared. The Krakken scared the crap out of her. On the whole, good movie.
P.S. I just remembered something funny from when I saw the first movie. There were a lot of trailers. When a trailer for "Master and Commander" started there was an image of a boat. Everybody in the theatre thought that the movie was starting so we all started clapping, and 30 seconds later, everybody felt really stupid.
I personally felt that PoTC is just another corperate movie that further eats away at what pirates really are. They keep on brining up the image that they are treasure hunters, not the raiders of the East India Trading company and a real force to be terrified of.
Good point. I guess if they were portrayed accurately, it wouldn't be a Disney film. But the false image is given off by a lot of the media in general.
