After a long delay, we are finally having another contest. As per some previous requests, we are having something besides an art contest. This time we are having a voice acting contest.
The following is a scene from episode 184 of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. Your task is to read the script aloud, using a slightly different voice for each character. Make sure to read the whole thing, not just the character you think you would do the best. When you are finished, you can e-mail me the Mp3 (kadabra64_2000 AT yahooo DOT com) or post just your recording on SheezyArt and submit it to the club. (Note: if you post it to SheezyArt, you have to make it available for download or there's not much I can do with it.) Please record/save in the highest quality you can.
I will be doing the judging. The best overall performance will receive a $10 gift certificate to Ebay or Audible (your choice, I can also do 3-month subscriptions to DeviantArt, if we have some DA people here.)

I will also choose up to ten entries and set their lines to the actual scene, creating a mini fandub, which will be available on my site upon completion. If people are interested, we can attempt to dub the episode in it's entirety, but let's stick to one thing at a time. Entering this contest does not mean you're volunteering to dub anything other than this single scene.
Setting: Usagi and friends are sitting at a table, playing cards with the Three Lights. Luna and Artemis look on anxiously.
Seiya: All right, who's holding out on the three of hearts?
Rei: Oh! It's me! I'll discard it!
Seiya: Thank you.
Usagi: Pass! Rei, discard the five of hearts next, okay?
Rei: No chance. The world of gambling is very harsh!
Usagi: Rei, you're very harsh.
Ami: It's my turn next. Taiki, you were holding out on this one, right?
Taiki: I admire you, Miss Mizuno. However, I think you're also holding out on the Five of clubs.
Ami: Really? I don't know what you're talking about!
Taiki: All right, if you insist.
Seiya: Taiki, relax!
Usagi: It's just a game!
Rei: Yeah, let's have fun!
Makoto: Pass!
Yaten: Pass!
Minako: I'll pass!
Yaten: You didn't discard even though you could!
Minako: I'll discard them if you go on a date with me.
Yaten: What are you talking about? Discard them!
Minako: No way! If you want them, you'll have to take me out!
Yaten: That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Minako: I'm thinking a French bistro might be nice...
Luna: It seems I was too worried.
Artemis: Eight young men and women playing cards? It's so healthy that I'm scared.
