Snapshot is a club dedicated to photography. But what is Snapshot really about?
Every two weeks or so, a theme is chosen. Members of the club may then submit a photograph depicting that subject. The photographs are judged and winners are chosen. The winners are announced in the forums, and forever posted in the Club Log. 1st place winners receive a 'trophy,' which they can put in the description of their photo.
Rules
-No photomanipulation, please. Editing is fine, but the end result should not radically differ from the original shot.
-There is a limit of 3 entries per member. As in 3 different interpretations of the theme.
What I will be looking for
-A unique interpretation of the theme.
-The main idea of the photo should BE the theme. I should be able to recognize that the shot is for the contest.
-A focus in the piece.
-The composition should be well thought out...Or at least look like it was :0
-Signs that you paid attention to the elements of photography.
-A thought out presentation. The border (or lack thereof) should work with the piece.
