Season 1:
Everything started when Dr. Eggman captured the 7 chaos emeralds in order to take over the world until an explosion called "Chaos Control" transports Sonic and his friends into Earth to a city called Station Square. After retrieving all the emeralds, Dr. Eggman summon Chaos, a watery monster bent on destroying the world like he did centuries ago in Angel Island until Eggman releases an E-Series robot code named "Gamma" into retrieving a lost bird that Amy found and befriended.
Season 2:
When Sonic and his friends along with Eggman and his croonies return to their home planet, they discover a different kind of evil weaken all the planets in the galaxy by stealing their planet eggs when all the sudden a being from space landed, a flower-like girl creature named Cosmo appears warning the gang about the Metarex, an elite robotic force planning to take over the galaxy with the help of Tails' new ship: The Blue Typhoon, in order to travel to space and save the galaxy from the evil Metarex.
