Walkthrough-- Part One
  Posted by Dipswitch
INTRO
The game starts off with an annoyingly long introduction. If you know Japanese and are playing the Japanese version, it won't be so bad. If you are playing the bootleg version, reading the broken and badly-translated English is kind of annoying. I would just push A as fast as you can unless you really want to read all of it. Some of it is kind of funny, like when the characters swear and say things like "If he just shuts up he may be a cute guy as well..." and "Well, is that a cute kid?", which make no sense.
Just to give you a summary, they talk about baseball and the main character (Bek) and his computer nerd friend (Sungki) find an Antenna Tree and suddenly fall into the Electric Monster's world. They are then met by a turtle monster called Musa who explains the concept of Electric Monsters to them and introduces you to your first partner (Kuribute in Power version(Pokemon Diamond) or Fanges in Speed version(Pokemon Jade)). Musa tells you about Netaro, who brings water to the village. But something has happened to Netaro so Musa asks you to go and fix things, but he warns you about Netaro's brother Nejiro, who makes trouble and causes problems for people.

TULUNK VILLAGE
This is where you start your game and where you meet the turtle Musa. The Bek's nerdy friend Sungki stays with Musa and will sometimes call you in the game to tell you about something important that is happening in the Electric Monster world. Even though you might be playing the bootleg version with the bad English, it's still fairly easy to tell what's going on.
When you leave Musa's house, head west and you will see more houses. If you want to talk to the other monsters walking around, you can. You will also see a store. It's the building with the "S" on it. This is where you can buy items for evolution and gaining experience. Read the "Battle and Evolution" blog for more information (link is below).
You should see a river if you keep heading west. You can't swim in it, but you can cross the bridges to navigate it. Be careful, because unlike in the Pokemon games, monsters can attack you anywhere (except in a town). Even if you're not walking through tall grass, you could be attacked and I've noticed it's not always easy to escape. Around Tulunk Village you will see monsters like Kokia (looks like a flying manta ray), Zinunas (a black monster, only in Speed version), Osie (looks like an armadillo), Kesi (a weird green monster, only in Power version), Manstla (a green caterpiller), and Punika (a pink monster). If your first partner is Kuribute, he will be weak against Kokia so be careful. Kuribute is a Wood type monster and Kokia is a Sky type. For more information on monster type match-ups, go to the "Monster Types" blog below.
Navigate your way around the river. It will end after a while and you will have to head east. You will be in a wooded area and you might see some suspicious looking people standing around (they look like the Team Rocket guys from Pokemon). You can talk to them but they don't really do much. Eventually you should see a small gathering of a couple monsters and a weird guy with massive glasses (Mr. Nerikara). When you walk up on them, Nerikara will talk about setting up a curry store so everyone will vote for him. It won't make much sense, but after he leaves you can head north and enter a cave.
There are fairly strong enemies in the cave so be careful. Use them to train and maybe to make some more friends. They will help you in the upcoming battles. There will be some more bad guys in the cave who want to battle you, so take care of them. You will eventually come to a point where you can choose to either go up or down. Go up and you will find door. Go right and you will see Nerikara, the guy who was talking about a store. He looks like he's up to something but will walk off when he can't get through the locked door.
Go back the way you came and this time go straight down. You will eventually come across a strange bat-like monster. This is Nejiro and he is defending his brother Netaro, trying to keep people away from him. Fight him, but be careful. If you are using Kuribute, you will be at a great disadvantage. Having a high-level Osie as a friend would be good, because Osie is a Hill type and would be good against Nejiro. If you're playing the Speed version you should be ok with Fanges and maybe another monster just to be sure. After fighting Nejiro he will let you pass and also give you his phone number so you can call him for help later.
Go past where Neijiro stood and get the key. Then go back up to the locked door Nerikara was trying to get into and open it. You will find Netaro asleep. Go talk to him and you will soon be joined by Nerikara who continues talking about his curry store again.
A strange woman called Tabasuko will walk in suddenly and challenge you. Having Nejiro on your team will be a big help. She will have a Noriwuts (Sky type) and also a Punika (Land) and Mierths (Land). After beating her, you can talk to Netaro and he will give you his number. Then you can leave and head back to Musa's house.
