I thought it'd be best to keep with a update concerning the programmers of The Art Site Project. So without my further ado:
We've been reorganizing the "Engine" (formally called TASPEngine) to interpret I/O much better and render pages with tier objective calls that funnel down to the initial page output, which has also prompted the introduction to an HTML equivalent for 'high-customization' users who want complete control to their profile; It is basically a XML based and structured language that will render objects and changes to profiles, much to be described as 'a high-powered more customizable BBCode tantamount'.
Additionally:
Security fixes
- Disabled PHP, CGI, and similar dynamic content rendering from within the art contains folder, thus malicious scripts cannot be uploaded and then run.
- Limit request body, No BWRaep for you.
- safe(); automatically removes script-kiddie crap.
Progressing
- Structure redesign, Less messy.
- TASPEngine::Supercompress(); -> Removes HTML comments, puts all HTML on one line.
- Modules load via JSON and Ajax communication.
- New design [http://m-onemusic.com/tasp/ by M-One
Fun
- Achievement system, Much inspired by: TF2 Game Achievements by Valve. Users will get achievements as they do either: Extraordinary things, Lifetime achievements, or Incredibly retarded things.
- Awards.
Ease of Access
- Opensearch: You can add The Art Site Project as a browser search engine. [Screenshot]
That's all folks =D!
PS: The white screen with the user-agent is temporary for a test we are doing.
Helloooo and welcome to the art site project Club.
As Sheezyart seems to be falling apart a bit more everyday there is no decent place for the normal artist to go - DA stinks of money and rotten community and FA is - as the name says - a place for furries.
We want to work close to the community (Therefore do the opposite of what Spencer and Channelcat are doing ) And what we therefore need is your feedback, your ideas, your wishes and support.
So go to the forums and polls, give us ideas and participate in the spreading of the news. Also if you like to join the team, apply in the forums! There will be MOD - Elections as soon as the site's up.
