Well, I hope it will anyway, as club activity here is frankly extremely low considering the amount of members we have. I do apologise though for leaving this club inactive for 2-3 months, university kept me out of the loop as it were.
With such inactivity, I do hope I can get some ideas or changes that you the members would like that would make this club more better. The purpose of this club is void if you don't participate. Ideas could be a change of art submissions to our gallery or types of activities for our members.
Speaking of, the United Theme Challenge of April was never concluded. To which, here's a new one for those interested. The word of the month is: "Revival".
Also, don't forget that every second week of each month, you choose 5 artists from your watch list to promote in your journal you feel should be more known.
I hope you can help to keep this club serve the purpose of promoting the unknown artists of sheezyart.
Welcome to the "Artist United Project", created in order to create a better sense of community within SheezyArt. Its primary purpose to promote each others artwork, create new friends and generally have a bit of fun.
The Artist United Project also has three main activities that we hope all members would participate:
1.Expose Our Fellow Artist.Around twice a month (under discussion), we ask you guys to take the time and feature 10 artists that you are watching. It would be better if the artist isn't someone you'd expect to have a lot of watchers, though it is fine to feature them if you feel the need to. That way we can open the doors to new galleries that have not been discovered yet.
2.LIVE events to draw with each other. A paintchat session will be set up and held monthly where we all can meet and greet each other. That way we can all make new friends and get exposed to new art AND potentially help each other if needed be. Dates will be told via the ClubLogs.
3.United Theme Challenge - Monthly event. Draw whatever comes to mind based on the theme supplied, in any style you are comfortable with.
4.Secret Santa - Yearly event. Participate in the art of giving, as you draw a gift for your secret santa in the club to be given on Christmas Day. Share the love and spirit of Christmas.
As part of joining this club, please follow these guidelines to help keep this club running smoothly:
1. Only collaboration and art trade pieces are allowed for submission. Tutorials and Lineart’s are also accepted.
2. Members are allowed up to 2 images per day for submission, nothing more.
3. Artwork of sexual themes or extreme violence will not be accepted. Artwork labelled as artistic nudity will be checked by members of staff.
4. No nuts. Capiche?
