The Vertical Llamas originated as a clan on an internet game called Enemy Territory (or "ET"). It is still rather popular today. The Vertical Llamas was going to place it's name on the game ladder to challenge other teams, but decided not to because of the great cut backs it would need to make a small enough team. Until this day it is still social.
