Well, hello to all!

I believe we've been introduced before, I'm Windson (or Em) whichever you prefer, and I'm the new administrator for this club! I actually am a very avid reader of Fruits Basket. (I'm still waiting on the 16th volume, I believe, but I own all the rest) but sadly, I'm not gifted in the talent of drawing any of the characters. It depresses me quite gravely.

I just want to let you all know what we're doing lately and what I'm planning to try with this club:

First, I want to get some forums going:
- Introduction Forum: new members can introduce themself, etc.
- Fanfic Forum: Where fanfic writers of Fruits Basket can discuss ideas, genres, and even storylines
- Anime/Manga Fanart Forum: Artists of this genre can discuss techniques, drawing styles, colors and anything else that might take their fancy.
- Contest Forum: Where I, or any of the members, can submit ideas for upcoming contests for this club.

Second, I want to try to get contests!
- Art Contest: Drawing and Photoshop; the kind of work that has to do with a representation and imagery.
- Fanfic Contest: Certainly with a definite theme, like the example of the "Love Triangle" or even just centering around a certain member of the Zodiac, etc.
- Collaboration Contest: This is one of my most interesting ideas: a collab between an anime/manga artist and a fanfiction artist.

The winners of these contests will get features on the club's page for a month and on my own profile for probably that same amount of time. These are only ideas of course, so please fill me in on what you guys think!

Third and final: I would like to try merging with other clubs and trying to get some affiliates for this club:

- It'll get our club to grow! We'll need recruiters and advertisers: Publicity is good all the time!
- There are a lot of fan clubs around not necessarily dealing with Furuba, of course, but storylines of that sort and shojo manga of this type and maybe even some music clubs to widen our horizons.

What do you all think of these? Remember: if we start on any new ideas, it'll mean more people need to help out which means jobs are going to be opening up with some of the same benefits as an administrator has!
